Aperitivo is the Italian tradition one can think of as a warm-up to dinner. After a long work day, many Italians indulge in light fare and drinks to “open up” the stomach before partaking in dinner. It can be loosely compared to the American happy hour and I say loosely because it is comprised of more than just food and drink specials – it’s all about the offerings. Aperitivo is meant to whet one’s appetite or to give it a good ol’ jump start.
At Rosaria’s, we now offer our Aperitivo for guests to try at our bar top, every day from 3:00 – 6:00 pm. Our patrons can expect light fare in the way of Arancini, Oysters, and New Zealand Lamb Chops by the piece. In addition, we have food by the board which consists of a smaller version of our Charcuterie Board and our new Butter Board. From the TikTok craze of butter boards, Chef has created something unique to Rosaria’s. Our Butter Board is comprised of a bone marrow compound butter, seasoned, and spread atop a board with marinated olives, and mushrooms. This elevated ‘bread and butter service’ is truly unique to Rosaria’s and a sure hit for guests to enjoy.
In the truest fashion of aperitivo guests can also imbibe with $2 off all glasses of wine, draft beer, and signature cocktails. There isn’t a better way to get ready for dinner. As they say “When in Rome” (but of course I mean Italy).
